INTRODUCTION

FOREWARD

The CHINA-JAPAN International Conference on Ultra-Precision Machining Process (CJUMP) was initiated in 1984. The 18^th CJUMP will be held in Wuxi, China from November 8-10, 2024. The goal of the conference is to convene researchers and scholars from China and Japan for the purpose of discussing innovative theories, technologies, and applications in the fields of precision engineering, microengineering, and nanotechnology. To adapt to the new landscape of ultra-precision machining and surface finishing technology, this conference will cover new progress of equipment development, testing and evaluation techniques, as well as manufacturing processes in the field of ultra-precision micro and nano manufacturing.

The conference is designed to provide all participants with an enjoyable experience and a comprehensive understanding of the current trends. We are looking forward to meeting you in Wuxi.

n Abstract submission: The template is available on the website. Abstracts from China should be sent to cjump2024@hnu.edu.cn, and abstracts from Japan should be sent to jcamp@sptpico.work

n Publications: All accepted papers will be included in a USB stick. Selected papers will be recommended to ESCI/EI indexed journals Nanomanufacturing and Metrology and AIMS Materials Science.
